Earning Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) shows employers you know how to effectively manage risks and disruptions, as well as leverage technology that uses data and streamlines processes.

Overview

If you have any of these responsibilities, CPIM is right for you:

  • Work with an ERP system, or other manufacturing systems and technologies

  • Manage planning, at any level of the planning hierarchy

  • Work with the Master Production Schedule and/or Materials Requirement Planning

  • Oversee manufacturing inventory management and control

  • Plan procurement and external sources of supply

  • Measure production performance

  • Participate on an S&OP team

Content

CPIM consists of 8 modules:

  8. Quality, Technology, and Continuous Improvement
